James’ life took a dramatic turn as he encountered the “fast lane.” In the late 1990s, he escaped to California for a year, having lost his passion and desire for success. Upon returning, James discovered a new path in the hair and fashion industries, studying at Robert Paul Academy of Cosmetology and working in prominent salons across the country.
